INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A light mist possible for the Wednesday morning commute with temperatures on the cooler side to start the day. Light mist should move out Wednesday afternoon leaving behind a lot of cloud cover today. Highs will top out in the mid-50s. On Wednesday night, clouds will stick around and lows will fall to the lower 40s.
Thursday will start cloudy and mild! A very warm day with highs in the mid 60s! A cold front will send everything crashing down. Out ahead of the cold front will be the potential for stronger storms. Right now there is a marginal risk of stronger to severe thunderstorms from Indy and points south. While southern Indiana has an elevated risk, slight risk, of a severe storm. The main risks will be gusty winds and hail.
Right behind the front will be much cooler with highs on Friday in the upper 40s to near 50° with lots of sunshine!
This weekend we cool even more with highs in the mid 40s Saturday with a light wintry mix possible during the afternoon. Sunday highs will warm slightly with highs in the upper 40s with a partly cloudy sky.
Next week looks unsettled with highs in the upper 50s Monday with rain chances through mid week.
