Dairy Queen offers free cone on first day of spring

(WISH) — Indiana weather may not show it, but Wednesday is the first day of spring. 

And Dairy Queen is offering a cool way to celebrate: A free small vanilla cone. 

On Wednesday, customers can get one free small vanilla soft-serve cone per person at participating non-mall DQ and DQ Grill & Chill locations throughout the U.S.

And from Thursday through the end of March, you can get a small regular or dipped soft-serve cone for 50 cents if you have the DQ mobile app.
