Danville adds Indiana’s 50th Save Haven Baby Box

DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — The state’s 50th Safe Haven Baby Box was made available to the public Monday.

It is Hendricks County’s first Save Haven Baby Box. It’s located at Danville Fire Department’s Station No. 192 at 100 Twin Bridges Road.

Save Haven Baby Boxes allow anyone to surrender a baby up to 30 days old without any consequences.

To date, 10 babies have been placed in Indiana’s Safe Haven Baby Boxes.
