Don Davis, owner of Don’s Guns, dies


INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A central Indiana businessman famed for his commercials has died.

Don Davis, the owner of Don’s Guns, died Thursday at Community Hospital South, an employee from the store confirmed.

The Don’s Guns on Lafayette Road is the only store remaining from his colorful career. He started with a sporting goods store in Greenwood and went on to open several gun stores across the area.

Davis was 82.
