Driver from rollover crash in Putnam Co. dies

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Officials have reported the driver from a crash in Putnam County on Tuesday has died from his injuries in an Indianapolis hospital.

Indiana State Police investigated a one vehicle roll over crash on County Road 750 East north of Rangeline Road in Putnam County. Officials report Ronald O’Neal, 76 of Kentucky, had been traveling north on CR 750 East when the SUV left the road and rolled over in a cornfield.

He was unresponsive when emergency responders arrived on scene. Lifeline was used to transport him to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Officials report O’Neal died from his injuries early Wednesday morning.

Yesterday afternoon, Indiana State Police investigated a one vehicle roll over crash on County Road 750 East north of Rangeline Road. The SUV was northbound on CR 750 East, left the roadway on the west side, entered a field, and rolled over. The crash resulted in the driver being airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
