Duke Energy workers from Indianapolis travel to help restore power after Hurricane Delta

(WISH) — Duke Energy is gearing up to help those impacted by Hurricane Delta.

The group was staying in West Memphis, Arkansas, on Friday night and will travel to Jackson, Mississippi, on Saturday.

“These guys are from the Midwest,” said Taylor Austin with Duke Energy. “We’re down here and we’re away from family, friends, taking time away from anniversaries, birthdays, holidays and they’re here to help. Their main mission is to help the community.”

The company helped with relief efforts after Hurricane Sally.

The group expects to stay down there for about two weeks.
