FWFD rescues seriously hurt man from fire
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) One man was rescued from a house fire Monday night.
Fire crews got to the house in the 1600 block of Colerick Street just before 11:00 p.m.
Firefighters found a fire in the kitchen and a man in a bathroom in the house. He was taken out of the house and sent to the hospital in serious condition.
The fire was contained to the kitchen area and was under control in 5 minutes.
There was moderate fire, water and smoke damage to the home.
The incident is under investigation.
