Golfers tee off at Chairman’s Cup to raise funds for 500 Festival Foundation

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – WISH-TV is the official broadcast partner of the 500 Festival Chairman’s Cup.

The annual 500 Festival golf outing teed off Wednesday morning at Prairie View Golf Club.

Around 22 foursomes were out helping to raise money for the 500 Festival Foundation.

IndyCar driver Alexander Rosi was one of the people who came out to help raise money.

“Reaching to different communities, different parts of Indianapolis and the whole state of Indiana to provide services to help youth, we are happy to be here to show the IndyCar sid of the Indianapolis 500 and 500 Festival and just thrilled to meet people who are passionate about the same things I am,” said Rossi.

All proceeds from the event go to the 500 Festival Foundation, including education initiatives and the Princess Program scholarships.
