Heart attacks and pregnancy
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There’s been an increase in heart attacks in women who are either pregnant or who’ve just given birth.
That number has gone up 25 percent.
Dr. Noel Dasguta, a cardiologist at IU Health stopped by Daybreak Friday.
She talked about those numbers and whether pregnant women need to be looking out for chest pains.
