Holiday train ride on the Nickel Plate Express

ATLANTA, Ind. (WISH) — A train ride through multiple towns hopes to get you in the holiday spirit.

The Nickel Plate Express is hosting their first ever “Reindeer Ride” throughout the month of December.

Each Saturday and Sunday from now until December 23, people can hop aboard the train and ride through Atlanta, Arcadia, and Cicero.

“The community has been so supportive of the train and making new memories with their families,” said Dagny Zupin of the Nickel Plate Express.

While on train, people can sip on hot drinks, alcoholic beverages, eat cookies, and sing Christmas carols.

“We’re off to a great start and can’t wait for bigger and better things in 2019,” Zupin added of the train made possible in part by Duke Energy.
