Hospital celebrates big milestone in thanking front-line workers

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A local hospital celebrated a big milestone in its efforts to thank heroes on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 5,000th meal was served to health care workers at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.

Various restaurants have been delivering lunch and dinner to units at the hospital since the pandemic first began.

The meals have all been sponsored by members of the community who reached out on Facebook looking for ways to help.
