Hundreds of meals will be delivered to frontline health care workers on Christmas Eve

NDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Christmas cheer is being spread to frontline health care workers at Franciscan Health.

Four hundred meals will be delivered to all health care workers at Franciscan Health on Christmas Eve at 11 am.

Community outreach coordinator Joan Himebrook told News 8 they received $6,000 in donations from Southport Presbyterian Church, Bailey and Wood Mortgage Lender and Approved Mortgage to purchase the meals.

Himebrook mentioned meals will also be delivered to hospital staff members. They will have the option to choose from eight different meals.

The meals were prepared and will be delivered by Market District Carmel, who also helped pay for the meals. 

There are also 100 stockings will also be delivered to in and out-patients for oncology services.
