I-65 back open after crash on Indy's north side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A crash on the north side of Indianapolis closed part of Interstate 65 Tuesday morning.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-65 near 71st Street. Around 8:15 a.m., INDOT reported all southbound lanes were closed in that area.

Indiana State Police said the crash involved at least two vehicles. A medic was called to the scene, but it’s unclear if anyone was hurt.

This was one of several crashes Tuesday morning that happened as snow fell.

INDOT officials released the information on Twitter that the lanes were back open at 9:30 a.m.
