IEDC names new communications chief
Laurel Judkins was named executive vice president of external engagement for the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers has named Laurel Judkins executive vice president of external engagement for the Indiana Economic Development Corp. She most recently led global teams at Columbus-based Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), focusing on the company’s brand, digital marketing and executive communications.
At IEDC, Judkins will oversee marketing, communications and a data and analytics division.
Judkins began her career as assistant corporation counsel for the city of Indianapolis. She also served as director of elections for the Marion County Election Board.
