Indiana Grown: Huber’s Orchard, Winery and Distillery

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every Saturday WISH-TV highlights a local company together with our partners at Indiana Grown.

This week Lise Kruer with Huber’s Orchard, Winery and Distillery, stopped by the Daybreak studios to talk about the grain-to-glass and farm-to-bottle company.

“You can obviously see the pumpkins and things like that growing [at the farm], but all of our wines and spirits, they have roots in our farm as well,” said Kruer.

Huber’s began as a farm in 1843 in Starlight, Indiana. The farm transitioned to a winery in 1978.

Kruer also talked about how the company has been utilizing their vast amount of outdoor space during the ongoing pandemic.
