INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Every week WISH-TV, together with our partners at Indiana Grown, highlights a local company.
This week, Nathan Hunt with Hunt Family Farm and Lindsay Sheffield from Jefferson St. BBQ stopped by Daybreak to talk about their businesses.
Both Nathan and Lindsay went to high school together and work with each other through their nearby businesses.
“I’m the sixth-generation farmer, I work with my dad, we raise pasture-raised pork on our family farm there in Amboy,” said Hunt. “We market our pork directly to restaurants mostly.”
Indiana Grown: Jefferson St. BBQ
One of those restaurants is Jefferson St. BBQ in Converse.
“All of the pork that we’re using comes from Nathan’s farm,” said Sheffield. “We do pulled pork, we do pork chops, ribs, so we have a full selection.”
