INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week WISH-TV, together with our partners at Indiana Grown, feature a local company.

This week Carrie Abbott with Newfangled Confections stopped by the Daybreak Studios to talk about some sweet treats.

Abbott said her passion for food ignited the business after an “experiment gone deliciously right” led her to the creation of Frittle. The candy is “peanut fudge meets brittle.”

Abbott’s candies are inspired by “grandma’s candy dish favorites.”

Newfangled Confections treats are sold throughout the state of Indiana and online.
