Indy funeral home invites public to service for 2 veterans with no family

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis funeral home will hold a joint memorial service for two veterans who recently passed away.

According to a spokesperson for Sprowl Funeral & Cremation Care, the men, who have not been claimed by family, will be honored during a public memorial service Thursday at 5 p.m. The service will be held at the funeral home located at 1134 W 30th St.

Obituaries for David Allen Lamaster and Harold Anthony Baker were posted to the funeral home’s website with more information about the men.

Lamaster, 58, passed away on Jan. 2. Baker, 60, passed away on January 3.

Military honors will take place during the memorial service, according to the funeral home. The public and veterans have been invited to attend.

Lamaster and Baker will be laid to rest at Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
