INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation is offering Hoosiers a way to celebrate an authentic New Orleans’ Fat Tuesday without leaving Indianapolis.

The organization is hosting its first Mardi Gras party and fundraiser with proceeds going to the foundation’s mission: promoting the future of jazz in the Circle City.

Guests will drink and dance the night away at The Crane Bay Event Center Tuesday night starting at 6 p.m.

Cajun hors d’oeuvres will be served and several live auction items will be up for bid. Including, tickets to top Indiana sporting events, artwork, and jewelry.

The evening will include entertainment by Indy based band LivingProof as well as special appearances by Josh Kaufman, winner of Season 6 of NBC’s The Voice.

Renowned saxophonist Rob Dixon will also perform.
