Indy Mayor Joe Hogsett to announce future of the Indiana Theatre
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett is set to make an announcement on Thursday on the future of the Indiana Theatre.
The Indiana Theatre was built in 1927 as a movie theatre, then converted to a playhouse in the 70s.
The theatre is currently the home to the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Indiana Roof Ballroom and has retail space on the lower floor, which is connected to Claypool Court and Circle Centre Mall.
The announcement is scheduled Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
