INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – April marks National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The Department of Health and Human Services says there are nearly 19 victims per 1,000 children in Indiana.
Roleen Demmings, an Indy Moms Blog contributor, mother and educator, stopped by Daybreak.
She talked about why child abuse has risen more than 30% since 2014, warning signs of abuse in children, and what to do if you suspect a child is being abused.
