INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Cold weather has arrived in central Indiana.
The past two weekend have brought several inches of snow and residents have also experienced bone-chilling temperatures.
One common method of trying to stay warm is through the use of a fireplace.
However, for parents a fireplace can quickly become a danger.
Lindsay Potter, an Indy Moms Blog contributor, stopped by Daybreak Wednesday to talk fireplace safety.
She discussed what to do and not do when it comes to the safety of children and fireplaces.
