Indy Police Foundation gives $10K to group helping at-risk kids

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An organization dedicated to working with at-risk children received a special donation Monday.

The Indianapolis Police Foundation presented a $10,000 check to the Him by Her Foundation.

Him by Her works to teach at-risk kids the skill they need to succeed.

“We are really looking to make a difference,” Him by Her leader Harry Dunn said. “We believe that all lives matter and that all kids are at risk, and we’re trying to make sure that, with expressions and financial literacy training, and life skills development, that coming to your neighborhood we can make a difference in your neighborhood.”

The organization was founded by an IMPD homicide detective.
