IPS families can explore the district during virtual Showcase of Schools event

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) is hosting its 7th Annual Showcase of Schools. The event is virtual this year from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.

Communications manager Carrie Black said Showcase of Schools will highlight educational options and extracurricular activities throughout the district.

Families can visit virtual booths for more than 70 IPS schools. Families can visit virtual booths for each IPS school to learn about their outstanding academic and extracurricular offerings.

There will be live chats with school representatives to ask questions from 11 a.m.- 1p.m. and from 6 p.m.- 8p.m.

Parents can also enroll or apply for the 2021-2022 school year once they find a school that best fits their student.

Guests can also learn more about IPS athletics, the arts, clubs, district services and engage with community partners.
