IPS to hold webinar on how to discuss race with children

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – As protests following the death of George Floyd continue across the country, the topic of race and racism is bound to be a topic of discussion.
Some of those people likely asking questions will be children, seeking to understand what is exactly is going on and why.
In order to help facilitate these discussions and answers those questions, Indianapolis Public Schools will be holding a virtual Q & A session.
Titled “How to Talk to your Children about Racism,” the webinar will feature IPS and community leaders as they share tips, resources and strategies to help with this discussion.
The webinar is scheduled for Friday, July 10 at 12 p.m.
