IUPUI Regatta draws 165 teams to downtown canal
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Those weren’t the normal boats people see on the downtown canal.
Saturday was the 10th annual IUPUI Regatta. Organizers said 165 teams racing in the water throughout the day. Each team had four to six people.
Teams raced between the Indiana State Museum and Military Park.
All of the money raised from the regatta will go toward a scholarship fund for students.
