Lawrence PD to be featured on A&E’s ‘Live PD’

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) — The Lawrence Police Department is set to appear on a popular cable show.

Officers of LPD will be featured on the A&E series “Live PD” beginning in April.

“Our officers are looking forward to join their colleagues from around the country on “Live PD”, documenting the activities of law enforcement agencies, along with the “how”, and “why”, police agencies and officers perform their duties,” Lawrence Chief of Police David Hofmann said in a news release. “Live PD” offers viewers a unique insight into what occurs in every community on a daily and nightly basis,” concluded Chief Hofmann.

Episodes air on Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Episodes with LPD will begin on April 19.
