Man arrested in Madison County for breaking into, destroying home
ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) – A man in Madison County has been taken into custody after breaking into and destroying a home.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, 57-year-old Darryl Rogers was arrested early Wednesday morning.
Police say Rogers was captured on surveillance camera breaking into the Anderson home.
The homeowners said someone broke into their home and was there for about three hours.
In that time, the intruder smashed parts of the kitchen and then used a rake to tear apart the cover on the family’s pool.
Rogers faces preliminary charges of theft and burglary.
