Man critically injured in crash involving semi on west side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man is in critical condition following a crash on the city’s west side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers were called to the area of South Girls School Road and West Washington Street around 9:30 a.m. for a crash.
IMPD said the crash involved a vehicle and a semi.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The department said it took nearly an hour to free the man from the wreckage.
