Man shot on east side, in critical condition
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in critical condition following Monday evening shooting on the east side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of South Temple Drive just after 11:30 pm.
After arriving on scene, officers says they found a man in an alley with a gunshot wound to his torso.
He was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
Police say they found the suspected shooter in the back yard of the home and that person has been taken into custody.
