Marathon Health names an Indy-based CEO

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Marathon Health, which is co-headquartered in Indianapolis and Vermont, has named Dr. Jeff Wells chief executive officer. Wells is co-founder of Indy-based Our Health, which merged with Marathon Health last year. During the transition, he served as president of the combined company.

Wells succeeds Jerry Ford who retired as CEO but will remain a board member and strategic advisor.

“Marathon Health is in a unique position to fundamentally change healthcare delivery in the U.S., and our entire executive team is thrilled to be heading up that mission,” said Wells.

Marathon Health manages workplace health centers in a variety of industries. It provides healthcare services to employee populations at work or nearby as part of employer benefits.
