INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Grab a pole!
Indiana’s first “Free Fishing Day” of 2020 is May 3.
There are four free fishing days scheduled for this year.
- May 3
- June 6
- June 7
- Sept. 26
Indiana residents will not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish in public waters on these days. Indiana Department of Natural Resources says seasons, bag and size limits still apply.
Several learn to fish workshops are also available. Many have been canceled but you can learn more regarding availability here.
