May is Stroke Awareness Month

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – May marks Stroke Awareness Month.

If you have a family history of strokes or are at risk, changing your eating habits could help lower your blood pressure.

Kaitlyn Wong, Community Health dietitian, was on Daybreak Monday.

She discussed how to change your diet to help protect against strokes.

She also went into detail on something called the “dash diet.”
