Missing 6-year-old girl found safe with dad

Authorities said shortly after 11 p.m. Friday that the girl was found safely with her dad.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are seeking help to locate a missing 6-year-old girl last seen near East 38th Street and Post Road.

Kayden Wells was last seen about 6:15 p.m. Friday at her home in the 3600 block of North Wittfield Street. That’s just southeast of 38th and Post. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was sent to the home about 7:30 p.m

Kayden was described as 4-feet-2 and from 55 to 60 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy school uniform shirt, black pants and black and white Vans shoes. She may have a light green Columbia jacket.

Officers are the home’s neighborhood and surrounding area for Kayden.
