Muncie animal shelter rescues over 40 cats from freezing U-Haul
MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — An animal shelter in Muncie is doing all it can to ensure over 40 cats find a safe and warm home for the winter.
Muncie Animal Care Services originally received a call that there was one cat living in the U-Haul in 19 degree weather. Upon arrival, 43 cats were discovered in the back of the U-Haul.
The shelter took in the cats on the same night of their adoption event on Friday.
