New initiative bringing students, Carmel firefighters together
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – A new initiative is bringing students and Carmel firefighters together.
News 8’s Nina Criscuolo stopped by Cherry Tree Elementary School where dozens of children up and moving.
That’s it was part of Fuel Up and Fire Up, an initiative to help get students physically active.
Carmel firefighter Tim Griffin talked about the new initiative and why it’s so important to talk to children about the need for exercise.
