One transported to hospital in Noblesville crash

NOBLESVILLE,Ind. (WISH) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident at State Road 37 and 211th Street just after 4 p.m. in Noblesville.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office,after arriving they spotted a gray Chevy Silverado against a tree.

Police go on to say that one person, the driver, Robert Reed, was  extricated from the vehicle and the taken to IU Methodist Hospital.

Witnesses say that prior to the accident, the gray truck was headed on State Road 37 at a high rate of speed.  It was at that time, according to police, that the vehicle began moving into oncoming traffic.

Police say that before this crash, the gray Silverado was involved in a number of other accidents, including hitting two other vehicles.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The driver of the truck was the only individual hurt in the series of accidents.
