Person shot on northeast side following possible robbery
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person was shot on the city’s northeast side Wednesday evening.
The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. in the 2800 block of North Rural Street.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said the victim appeared to have been a victim of a robbery. They were transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition.
No suspect information has been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
