INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Patty Spitler stopped by the Daybreak studios with two special guests that brought along four furry friends.
Michelle Fisher, who coordinates therapy dog activities at Eskenazi Hospital, joined Patty with Maureen Boulanger, who is a special volunteer with the program.
“There’s really never a rough day when we have our therapy dogs at the hospital,” explained Michelle Fisher, the animal assistant therapy coordinator at Eskenazi Hospital. “Our volunteers are what really hold our program together.”
Fisher explained that Boulanger sets up agility courses at the hospital that gives patients and staff members a chance to watch the animals do amazing things on the course.
