Pet Pals TV: Ways to help your dog adjust to lifestyle changes

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Patty Spitler, the host of Pet Pals TV, stopped by the Daybreak studio with her dogs on Saturday.

She spoke about changes to the lifestyles of dog owners and how that affects the animals.

People are getting out more from their recent isolation that was implemented due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now that dog owners may be leaving the house more frequently, tools and tips to help your dogs adjust are available. Those tips and tools include: disassociate cues, gradual departure rehearsals, puzzle toys and treats.
