Popcorn is officially Indiana’s state snack
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It’s now law that popcorn is Indiana’s official state snack.
Several new laws go into effect on July 1 and the new popcorn one does as well.
Jason Kashman, CEO of Weaver Popcorn, was on Daybreak Thursday.
He talked about what it means for the state of Indiana to recognize the treat in such an official way.
He also talked about how much Weaver Popcorn actually makes and shared some secrets to getting all the kernels to pop.
