Program offers recovering addicts shelter
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A program to give women recovering from addiction a safe place to find help is working to expand.
The Dove House can only currently house 22 women a night who are recovering from addiction, but a donor has provided a building that can house 38 women a night.
The organization hosted a fundraiser on Wednesday night, and the organization said that the expansion is desperately needed.
The organization is trying to raise $1.2 million to cover the cost of operations.
