Residents begin petition for road changes after fatal weekend crash
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There are now calls for changes to a road where a 16-year-old Ella Myger died in a crash over the weekend.
It happened on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
Four teenagers were inside a car that went into a retention pond off Frye Road, which is near Shelbyville and East Stop 11.
That petition on Change.org has more than 7,400 signatures but neighbors are hoping for 7,500.
The goal is get Marion County officials to consider putting in guardrail on Frye Road to protect both pedestrians and drivers.
