INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Summer is usually a prime time for runs and races but the pandemic is pushing many of them back or causing them to be canceled entirely.

That means organizers are having to find creative ways to get people moving.

Jeff Graves, with Run317, was on Daybreak Friday.

He discussed two series runs which were recently announced would be virtual this year – the Butler Tarkington and Mass Ave runs.

He also talked about what factors is being considered when decisions are made about races and the process of turning a physical race into a virtual race.
