Run4 Kids 4K raising funds dedicated to preventing child abuse

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The 9th annual Matt Breman Memorial Run 4Kids event kicked off at the canal Saturday morning. 

Participants are raising money and running and walking together in order to raise awareness and help put a stop to child abuse and neglect in Indianapolis and across the country. 

All of the funds raised from this event will go to help important educational programs given by Prevent Child Abuse Indiana, such as Safe Sleep, Human Trafficking Prevention, Stewards of Children, and Bullying to Prevention. 

The organization is hoping to raise $20,000 for the cause.
