Semi catches fire on I-469
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A semi caught fire on Interstate 469 early Thursday morning, which forced crews to briefly restrict lanes on the highway.
Police and fire crews were called around 6 a.m. to Interstate 469 near State Road 37 and Maysville Road interchange on a report of a fire.
Dispatchers said the semi’s driver was able to escape the fire without injury.
One lane of the highway was briefly restricted while fire crews extinguished the blaze.
It’s not clear yet what caused the fire.
