HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office has identified two victims who were found deceased in a vehicle in a creek on Tuesday.

HCSO responded to a call of a car in a creek near East County Road 350 North and North County Road 600 East on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as 57-year-old David Cuskaden and 53-year-old Lisa Grissom, both of Avon.

Investigators currently believe the vehicle left the roadway after the driver lost control, resulting in the vehicle becoming inverted in White Lick Creek. It is unknown what caused the driver to lose control.

Investigators say friends saw the deceased around 3 p.m. The call came into the sheriff’s office at 3:40 p.m. A resident walking in the area placed the call to 911.
