Speedway street festival to kick off month of May, celebrate Cinco de Mayo
SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) -The Town of Speedway, Mission Foods and Arrow McLauren SP is kicking off the month of May ahead of Indy 500 with a street festival.
The festival will celebrate the community and recognize Cinco de Mayo.
The Town of Speedway is partnering with Arrow McLaren SP to officially kick off the Month of May with Cinco de Mayo on Main presented by Mission Foods. The event will take place on Wednesday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Main Street.
The celebration will feature live entertainment, artists and vendors of local organizations including Monarca Academy, City Dogs and the Speedway Arts Council.
The event will close Main Street temporarily from 16th Street to Gillman Street.
