Teen dies after south side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed early Sunday morning.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 19-year-old Dujuan Love.

Officials first arrived on East Kelly Street near Garfield Park around 12:30 a.m. on a shots fired report. They later located Love suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he later died of his wounds.

Police have searched a house near the scene as part of the investigation.

Suspect has not yet been released.
