Power mostly restored on city’s east side
UPDATE: As of 10:40 a.m. nearly 2,000 customers had their power restored after an outage. Nearly 500 customers are still without power on the city’s east side.
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Power and Light on Friday was reporting that more than 2,300 customers did not have power on the city’s east side.
A cause for the power outage was not immediately clear. Restoration times for the affected areas were estimated between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
With temperatures dangerously low, power outages can become a problem.
